Sofia provides a safe, empathetic environment for individuals to navigate life’s challenges. Through collaboration with clients, she works to identify and understand the underlying cause of their symptoms and find coping strategies that work. Sofia’s patient, calm presence helps her clients remain grounded in the moment. Sofia’s approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing inspiration from cognitive behavioural, solution-focused, and narrative therapies.
With a versatile background, she has supported clients of all ages and specializes in working with those aged 13+. Sofia has honed her expertise in areas such as building self-acceptance, healing from trauma, developing self-esteem, and coping with anxiety, stress, and uncertainty. Her educational credentials include an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Early Childhood Mental Health, and a Masters of Social Work. Sofia is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
