Ryanne Plesh, BSc, PT

Resident Physiotherapist

Ryanne is a Barrie native who graduated from St. Francis Xavier University and attained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Kinetics and a Minor in Health Science in 2020. During her time at StFX, she served as a strength and conditioning intern, working with varsity athletes in many sports such as hockey, football, and soccer. This experience highlighted for her the significant benefits of off the field or ice training.  

Following graduation, Ryanne attended Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland where she earned a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Upon graduation, Ryanne began her professional career working in the UK National Health Service. During this time, she gained valuable experience in geriatrics, respiratory medicine, and musculoskeletal injuries. Ryanne has a particular interest in how exercise can improve quality of life and has contributed to the field as a published researcher. Her emphasis on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice is the platform for her work.

Outside of the clinic, Ryanne is dedicated to living an active lifestyle. You can often find her outdoors, lifting weights at the gym, or enjoying nature while running. Ryanne is eager to leverage her knowledge to make a positive impact in her community!
