Lindsay Westcott, MSW/RSW
Lindsay has worked with adults, children and families for over 15 years in a variety of settings.
She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work from Ryerson University and continued on with her Masters of Social Work at University of Windsor.
Lindsay has provided individual, family and group counselling. She provides support in areas such as worry/anxiety, sadness/depression, stress and emotional regulation.
She specializes in youth mental health, family counselling and parent coaching and she is also interested in postnatal mental health and chronic pain.
She has a passion for working with parents and children who are struggling with worry, sadness, and emotional regulation. She also provides coaching to help support parents manage these struggles at home. Drawing on her schooling, additional trainings and experiences allows her to utilize a multitude of therapies to best meet her clients needs, including: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. At the centre of her practice belief she is always working from a client centred approach.
Lindsay is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers.Book Online
