Spinal Joint Dysfunction
The sacroiliac joint lies next to the bottom of the spine, below the lumbar spine and above the tailbone. Dysfunction in the sacroiliac joint, is thought to cause low back and/or leg pain.
Symptoms
- Triggered by coughing or sneezing
- Improved when lying down
- Aggravated with poor posture, by bending or twisting, standing or walking for a long period of time
- Difficult to carryout everyday activities
- Accompanied by stiffness in the low back and/or burning sensations in the pelvis
